I have missed practicing and our game days with the team!  I hope you have had a wonderful week and that players have made a smooth transition to their winter sports or other endeavors.  

Equipment Return

Most of our players have returned their equipment but we still have a handful of players that have not turned in their equipment, yet.  Please check with your player and make sure all their equipment has been returned so there are no charges for missing equipment.  All jerseys, pants, etc… need to be clean when they are returned as well to avoid cleaning charges.

Team Banquet-December 2nd-6-9pm

We will be having our team banquet on December 2 from 6-9 pm at Ascent Church in Louisville.  Please mark your calendars for this special event as we will be recognizing the players for their hard work and accomplishments this season.  This includes Varsity and C-Team players and will be a great night and memory for everyone.  More details to follow.

Off Season Football Plans and Training

As I mentioned already to our players, the best off season “training” for football is playing multiple sports throughout the year.  These will enhance overall athleticism and explosiveness and improve football skill and performance.  With that said, for players not involved in other sports we will have our speed and explosiveness training starting in December/January.  More details forthcoming but we will focus on speed and power development through our Tri-Phasic and Speed based performance training.  Most weeks will include 3 days of lifting, overall athleticism development, and speed training.  

Annual Football Calendar

We will send out a “calendar” in December/January with most, if not all, of our football activities and plans for the following year so everyone can make plans.  Please consider this calendar when making family plans for spring/summer/fall as we want to make sure and keep building our football culture at CHS.
